生於香港。1975年投考佳藝電視台藝員訓練班，其後獲力捧拍攝《名流情史》（1978）、《金刀情俠》（1978），均擔任要角。佳視倒閉後轉投電視廣播有限公司，成為當家花旦，與周潤發主演的《網中人》（1979）令她的名字家傳戶曉，其後演出多部膾炙人口的電視劇，如《鍾無艷》（1985）、《流氓大亨》（1986）、《生命之旅》（1987）等。
80年代初涉足大銀幕，憑處女作《花城》（1983）獲第3屆香港電影金像獎最佳新人獎。1987年約滿無綫後旋即全身投入電影拍攝，《神奇兩女俠》（1987）、《三人世界》（1988）、《小男人周記》（1989）、《賭霸》（1991）等，無論喜劇或正劇均有卓越表演，多次獲提名香港電影金像獎最佳女主角獎，當中《月亮星星太陽》（1988）終為她帶來第25屆台灣金馬獎最佳女主角獎，以及《表姐，妳好嘢！》（1990）獲第10屆香港電影金像獎最佳女主角獎，「表姐」一角深入民心，及後接連開拍續集。
90年代中開始減產，並移民加拿大。千禧年代回流無綫電視台拍攝電視劇《男親女愛》（2000）令她再次人氣急升，及後更演出了五十場同名舞台劇。
2002年主演《慳錢家族》後息影，至今只擔任電視台及電台節目主持。憑出眾的口才及專業的形象，鄭裕玲是香港數一數二的金牌女司儀、節目主持人，自80年代起至今，擔任過大小不同類型的電視綜藝節目、頒獎典禮或慶典晚會的主持或司儀。息影後於商業電台主持廣播節目《口水多過浪花》，大受好評。

Born in Hong Kong, Carol Cheng enrolled in Commercial Television’s 1975 acting class and was groomed to become one of the company’s principal actors, first appearing in Celebrity Love Story (1978) and Gold Dagger Romance (1978).
After the station closed down, she joined Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) as a leading actress. Her breakthrough role in The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1979), playing opposite Chow Yun Fat, made her a household name, and she continued to impress in TV dramas such as The Legend of Lady Chung (1985), The Feud of Two Brothers (1986) and The Price of Growing Up (1987).
She expanded her acting to films and soon garnered Best New Performer at the Hong Kong Film Awards for her screen debut, The Last Affair (1983). Finishing her contract with TVB, she continued her career in a wide variety of film roles and genres, with memorable performances in Wonder Women (1987), Heart to Hearts (1988), The Yuppie Fantasia (1989) and The Top Bet (1991), among others.
A frequent nominee for Best Actress throughout her career, she won the trophy at the Golden Horse Awards for Moon, Star, Sun (1988), and at the Hong Kong Film Awards for Her Fatal Ways (1990). Her mainland police officer character (nicknamed ‘The Cousin’) became a popular cultural parody, leading to the making of a sequel.
In the mid-90s, she gradually retreated from filmmaking and migrated to Canada. Entering the millennium, she returned to TVB and enjoyed a successful comeback with War of the Genders (2000). The drama was adapted into a staged version for which Cheng performed around 50 live shows.
She retired from filmmaking after Frugal Game in 2002, but continued to host television and radio programmes. Articulate and knowledgeable, she is one of the top presenters in Hong Kong, hosting a wealth of TV variety shows, award presentations and galas since the 1980s. When I Was Young I Listen To The Radio, the top-rated radio programme co-hosted by Cheng, is a favourite among her fans.

至90年代初，電影片約一直不斷，拍過的電影名作包括《等待黎明》（1984）、《神奇兩女俠》（1987）、《笑傲江湖》（1990），其中分別以《飛越黃昏》（1989）及《婚姻勿語》（1991）獲得第9屆及第11屆香港電影金像獎最佳女配角及最佳女主角獎，第二次榮登影后，她亦憑後者首獲提名台灣金馬獎最佳女主角。
1988年與入行時已相識的幕後製作人陳國熹結婚。其後主演的《跛豪》（1991）、《和平飯店》（1995）、《拳神》（2001）、《五月八月》（2002）亦多次提名香港電影金像獎最佳女主角獎或最佳女配角獎。
90年代開始作出不同嘗試，於香港演出電視劇及舞台劇，其後轉戰台灣拍攝電視劇，尤以《新白娘子傳奇》（1992）反串飾演許仙的角色紅遍兩岸三地，隨後接拍多部古裝電視劇，其中以《倚天屠龍記》（1995）提名台灣金鐘獎戲劇節目女主角獎。
千禧年後逐漸將重心轉移至內地拍攝電視劇，偶然參與香港電視及電影演出，如《紐約紐約》（2016）、《非同凡響》（2018）、《淪落人》（2019） 。2010年擔任第47屆台灣金馬獎決選評審。
Ms Cecilia Yip Tung

Born Lee Sze Sze in Hong Kong, Cecilia Yip was an advertising model during her school years. She was chosen by famous screenwriter Joyce Chan and director Patrick Tam to join Century Motion Picture, playing the female lead in Nomad (1982) and Coolie Killer (1982). She rose to instant fame, with Nomad earning her a nomination for Best New Performer at the Hong Kong Film Awards. Her acting was further recognised in the next year for Let’s Make Laugh (1983), which saw her win Best Actress at the Hong Kong Film Awards.
She went on to star in a succession of films, including Hong Kong 1941 (1984), Wonder Women (1987) and The Swordsman (1990). For Beyond the Sunset (1989), she won Best Supporting Actress at the 9th Hong Kong Film Awards, and garnered her second Best Actress accolade at the 11th Hong Kong Film Awards for This Thing Called Love (1991), which also brought her a Best Actress nomination at the Golden Horse Awards.
In 1988, she married filmmaker Chan Kwok Hei. She also received Best Supporting Actress nominations at the Hong Kong Film Awards for To Be Number One (1991), God of Fist Style (2001) and May & August (2002), as well as another Best Actress nomination for Peace Hotel (1995).
Beginning in the 1990s, she has also appeared in television dramas and theatre. She was widely acclaimed for her cross-dressing performance as Xu Xian in the Taiwanese television drama New Legend of Madame White Snake (1992). Appearing in more TV costume dramas, she was nominated for Best Actress in a TV Series at the Golden Bell Awards for The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber.
After the millennium, she shifted her focus to mainland TV drama, also appearing briefly in Hong Kong films and television, such as New York New York (2016), Distinction (2018) and Still Human (2019). She sat on the jury of the 47th Golden Horse Awards.

本名張嘉年，1968年加入邵氏兄弟電影公司，師從午馬從事幕後工作，歷任場記、副導演及執行導演，累積豐富電影製作經驗。1980年轉往嘉禾電影公司發展，由幕後轉戰幕前成為演員。八十年代參演多部香港電影，包括成龍、洪金寶主演的動作片，以及殭屍片和喜劇片等不同類型，具備武打基礎，又會搞怪搞笑，演活不同階層的小人物角色。1984年憑電影《公僕》入圍台灣金馬獎最佳男配角。八十年代末同時活躍於台灣影視圈，精通台語，多番演繹嚴厲深情寡言的父親，是台灣觀眾心目中的「國民爸爸」之一。1989年參與侯孝賢執導的台灣電影《悲情城巿》，2000年憑《運轉手之戀》獲金馬獎及台北電影節最佳男配角。太保演技精湛，是公認的實力派，於2019年憑《叔叔》榮膺第廿六屆香港電影評論學會大獎及第三十九屆香港金像獎影帝寶座。入行半世紀以來參與的電影接近300部，2024年獲得第廿三屆紐約亞洲電影節「亞洲之星」終身成就獎加冕，表揚其對電影的卓越貢獻。
Mr. Taibo Cheung Ka Nin

Born Cheung Ka Nin, Taibo joined the Shaw Brothers Studio in 1968, working under Wu Ma as script supervisor, assistant director and executive director successively, gaining extensive production experience. In 1980, he transitioned into acting at Golden Harvest, appearing in numerous local films, including action films starring Jackie Chan and Sammo Hung, vampire films and comedies. With his martial arts background and slapstick comedy skills, he could vividly portray everyday characters from all walks of life.
In 1984, he earned a Golden Horse Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor for Law with Two Phases. During the late 1980s, he worked in both film and television in Taiwan. Fluent in Taiwanese, he frequently played stern, affectionate and taciturn fathers, becoming one of the “national fathers” beloved by Taiwanese audiences. In 1989, he appeared in A City of Sadness, directed by Hou Hsiao-hsien.
In 2000, he won Best Supporting Actor at both the Golden Horse Awards and the Taipei Film Festival for The Cabbie. A masterful actor recognised as a powerhouse of the craft, in 2019, he won Best Actor at both the 26th Hong Kong Film Critics Society Awards and the 39th Hong Kong Film Awards for Twilight’s Kiss. Having appeared in nearly 300 films across a half-century career, Taibo received the Star Asia Lifetime Achievement Award at the 23rd New York Asian Film Festival in 2024, honouring his outstanding contributions to cinema.

Lam graduated from the 15th TVB training programme in 1988 and has since appeared in numerous minor roles in episodic dramas. In 1995, he attracted widespread attention for his performance in From Act to Act, followed by Time Before Time (1997), Plain Love II (1999) and Country Spirit (2001). Shortly after, he fully transitioned into film and received nominations for Best Supporting Actor at the Hong Kong Film Awards for Dance of a Dream (2001), Ip Man (2008) and Cold War (2012); his performance in Election (2005) and Election 2 (2006) also earned him high recognition. In 2016, his portrayal of mobster Kwai Ching Hung in Trivisa won him the Best Actor awards at the 23rd Hong Kong Film Critics Society Awards, the 36th Hong Kong Film Awards and the 11th Hong Kong Film Directors’ Guild Awards. His craft honed over years has since earned him numerous nominations for Best Supporting Actor and Best Actor at the Hong Kong Film Awards and the Golden Horse Awards for films including Paradox (2017), Hand Rolled Cigarette (2020) and Limbo (2021).
In addition to acting, Lam has also ventured into production since 2010. Gallants, his debut as producer, won Best Film at both the 17th Hong Kong Film Critics Society Awards and the 30th Hong Kong Film Awards. In 2021, Time, for which he served as producer and screenwriter, won Best Screenplay at the 28th Hong Kong Film Critics Society Awards. Since 2003, he has been actively involved in the Hong Kong Performing Artistes Guild, serving as Vice President at the 9th and 13th terms. In 2019, he was appointed by the Hong Kong SAR Government as a member of the Hong Kong Film Development Council and served as convenor for the Support Services Committee, dedicating himself to talent training programmes and policy advocacy. 1988年踏足電影圈，於李修賢主理的萬能影業公司擔任場記，由於入行前曾任警務人員，故被邀在《壯志雄心》（1989）演出。之後加入亞洲電視，演出《赤子雄風》（1989）、《洪熙官》（1994）等劇集，期間偶有參與電影演出。九十年代中轉投無綫電視，憑《天地豪情》裡甘量宏的反派角色備受注目，人氣急升，獲王晶導演賞識邀請拍攝《賭俠1999》（1998），之後合作《化骨龍與千年蟲》（1999）、《黑馬王子》（1999）等喜劇，其中憑「化骨龍」這個巿井小混混角色深得觀眾喜愛。踏入千禧年，他在喜劇以外慢慢嘗試其他戲路，如愛情小品《2人三足》（2002）等。2004年至2006年間，先後拍攝杜琪峯執導的《大事件》（2004）、《黑社會》（2005）及《放．逐》（2006），演技漸見成熟，尤其擅演內歛深沉的角色。至2008年與導演林超賢展開長期合作，憑《証人》洪荊一角獲得香港電影評論學會大獎、香港電影金像獎、台灣金馬獎等多個海內外電影獎的影帝殊榮；2013年的《激戰》，張家輝經過艱苦鍛鍊成一身擂台拳擊手的體格，演活男主角程輝，憑此角色再度榮獲香港電影評論學會大獎及香港電影金像獎最佳男主角殊榮。

Nick Cheung entered the film industry in 1988, working as a script supervisor at Danny Lee’s Magnum Films. Having served as a police officer prior to joining the show business, he was invited to appear in Thank You, Sir (1989). Subsequently, Cheung joined ATV to perform in drama series, such as No Way Out (1989) and The Kung Fu Master (1994), while occasionally appearing in films. He later joined TVB in the mid-1990s and attracted soaring popularity for his villainous role as Kam Leung Wang in Secret of the Heart. Recognised by director Wong Jing, he was invited to star in The Conman (1998), followed by comedies He is My Enemy, Partner and Father-in-law (1999) and Prince Charming (1999). His portrayal of Dragon, a small-time street thug, was particularly beloved by audiences.
As the millennium dawned, Cheung began to explore roles beyond comedy, such as romantic drama Time 4 Hope (2002). Between 2004 and 2006, his acting skills gradually matured through starring in Johnnie To’s Breaking News (2004), Election (2005) and Exiled (2006), developing an aptitude for portraying reserved and profound characters. In 2008, Cheung began a long-standing collaboration with director Dante Lam, which earned him several accolades – for Beast Stalker (2008), he won Best Actor awards at numerous film festivals both at home and abroad, including the Hong Kong Film Critics Society Awards, the Hong Kong Film Awards and the Golden Horse Awards; for Unbeatable (2013), he underwent gruelling training to build a professional boxer’s physique, and once again won Best Actor at the Hong Kong Film Critics Society Awards and the Hong Kong Film Awards.
Having excelled as an actor, Cheung shifted his gears to directing in 2014, helming films including Hungry Ghost Ritual (2014), Keeper of Darkness (2015), The Trough (2018) and Peg O’ My Heart (2025). Beyond film and television, he also delved into pop music as a singer in 2000, releasing singles and albums, and winning music awards including Best Male Newcomer at the Ultimate Song Chart Awards.

羅艷卿，祖籍廣東順德，十歲隨堂叔學習粵劇，並習南北派武功，14歲正式加入光華劇團，之後曾參加不少著名劇團，先後拜師羅品超及薛覺先，並與余麗珍、鄧碧雲等名旦結為「八牡丹」。1948年轉戰電影圈，首部電影《五鼠鬧東京》即任女主角，憑《七劍十三俠》（1949）聲名大噪，接連演出多部古裝武俠片，如《碧血劍》（1958）、《白髮魔女傳》上、下集（1959）及《七劍下天山》（1959）等，銀幕上身手靈巧矯捷，硬朗正氣的女俠形象深入民心。羅艷卿戲路宜古宜今，又文武兼備，武俠片以外演過不少民初動作片、粵劇戲曲片及時裝片等，名作包括《璇宮艷史》（1957）、《歷盡滄桑一美人》（1958）、《十兄弟》（1959）、《非夢奇緣》（1960）、《夜光杯》（1961）等，被封為「美艷親王」，主演的電影超過330部。1969年息影後移居美國三藩巿，不過退而不休，七十年代曾回港參演麗的電視劇《追族》（1978），並偶爾參與慈善粵劇演出及相關活動。
Ms. Law Yim Hing

A native of Shunde in Guangdong Province, Law began learning Cantonese opera under her uncle at the age of 10, while also receiving training in both the Northern and Southern schools of martial arts. At 14 she officially joined the Kwong Wah Opera Troupe, and subsequently numerous other renowned opera troupes. She apprenticed under eminent opera actors Luo Pinchao and Sit Kok-sin, and became known as the “Eight Peonies” alongside seven other renowned opera actresses including Yu Lai-zhen and Tang Bik-wan.
Law’s film career commenced in 1948, as she played the lead role in The Haunt of the Eastern Capital, and drew the public’s attention with Thirteen Heroes with Seven Swords (1949). She then starred in various period wuxia films including Sword of Blood and Valour (1958), Story of White-Haired Demon Girl, Part 1 and 2 (1959) and Seven Swordsmen from Tianshan (1959), among others. Her portrayal of wuxia heroines was marked by agile movements, while her tough and righteous image resonated deeply with the public. Law was an all-rounder for roles of period and modern eras, drama and action films. Other than wuxia films, she also delivered versatile performances in early Republican period action films, Cantonese operas films and contemporary dramas. Notable works include My Kingdom for a Husband (1957), True Love (1958), Ten Brothers (1959), Random Harvest (1960), The Magic Cup (1961), and more. Having performed in over 330 films, Law was touted as the “Ambassador of Alluring Beauty”.
After retiring from acting in 1969, Law moved to San Francisco in the United States. She returned to Hong Kong in the 1970s to perform in RTV drama In Cold Blood (1978), as well as occasionally taking part in Cantonese opera charity performances and related events.
Mr. Kent Cheng Jut Si

又名鄭則仕，1973年修讀長弓電影公司首屆演員訓練班而入行，三年後在無綫電視的演戲比賽《聲寶片場》奪魁，簽約成為演員，參與劇集有《狂潮》（1976）、《強人》（1978）、《四眼神探》（1979）和《獵鷹》（1982）等。八十年代初涉足電影圈，演出《山狗》（1980）、《摩登雜差》（1982）及《叔侄．縮窒》（1983）等，與廖偉雄一肥一瘦合演鬥氣冤家的喜劇路線備受注意。到1985年，演而優則導，自編自導自演《何必有我？》，演出智障青少「肥貓」一角非常成功，不但為他摘下第五屆香港電影金像獎最佳男主角桂冠，更成為他演藝生涯中最膾炙人口的角色。鄭則仕在電影上雄心壯志，九十年代曾投資成立電影公司，監製及執導不同類型的電影。曾導演作品有《心跳一百》（1987）、《富貴兵團》（1990）、《獄中龍》（1990），監製《運財童子》（1994）等。不過他始終不忘演戲初心，1993年重返電視台，影視雙棲發展，多年來遊走無綫與亞洲兩家電視台，嘗試不同角色及戲路。電影方面，憑《跛豪》（1991）的毒梟角色及《重案組》（1993）的貪污警探，先後獲提名金像獎最佳男配角，至1996年再次憑《三個受傷的警察》，第二度奪得金像獎影帝殊榮。至今仍活躍於影視圈，在電視劇《火線下的江湖大佬》（2016）、《使徒行者3》（2020）及電影「葉問」系列（2008-2019）、《談判專家》（2024）等亦見其身影。
Mr. Kent Cheng Jut Si

Kent Cheng entered in the industry in 1973 as a student of the inaugural acting training course organised by Chang’s Film Company. Three years later, he won an acting contest organised by TVB and was signed by the station as a contract actor, subsequently appearing in drama series including Hotel (1976), Giant (1978), Cheap Detective (1979), The Emissary (1982), among others. Cheng ventured into film in the early 1980s, appearing in The Beasts (1980), The Sweet and Sour Cops (1982), The Sensational Pair (1983), and more. His comedic performance alongside Liu Wai Hung as bickering rivals with the pair’s contrasting physiques – one plump, the other lean – was widely appealing to the audiences.
By 1985, Cheng transitioned from acting to directing, as he wrote, directed and starred in Why Me?. His portrayal of the intellectually disabled young man “Fat Cat” was highly reputable as his most iconic character in his acting career, earning him Best Actor at the 5th Hong Kong Film Awards. Harbouring great ambitions in filmmaking, Cheng set up a film company in the 1990s to produce and direct films across various genres. He directed Heartbeat 100 (1987), The Fortune Code (1990), and Dragon in Jail (1990), and served as producer for Beginner’s Luck (1994). Nevertheless, Cheng remained a passionate actor that he returned to television in 1993, actively working in both film and TV. Over the years, he performed for both TVB and ATV, taking on a variety of roles and exploring different acting styles. In film, he was nominated for the Hong Kong Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for his roles as a drug lord in To Be Number One (1991) and a corrupted cop in Crime Story (1993), before winning his second Hong Kong Film Award for Best Actor for The Log in 1996. He remains active in film and television to this day, having appeared in TV dramas such as My Dangerous Mafia Retirement Plan (2016) and Line Walker: Bull Fight (2020), as well as the Ip Man film series (2008–2019) and Crisis Negotiators (2024).
