Avenue of Stars showcases the Enchanting World of Leslie Cheung on 1 April 2006

1st April is a special day for friends and fans of Leslie Cheung. Avenue of Stars will join with Red Mission, an international fans club of Leslie Cheung, and Hong Kong Mood Disorders Center of Chinese University to organize memorial activities to commemorate Leslie Cheung, which include :

-The display of Leslie Cheung's giant movie photos along the sidewalk of the Avenue, with the broadcast of Leslie's songs as background music.
-A "Flower Zone" set-up near Leslie's floor plague for fans to present flowers (each fan to lay just one white flower).
-Musical groups, including Tony Music, Wholala and Rich Media to launch commemorative concerts at the Avenue on 1st and 2nd April to salute to Leslie.
-Hong Kong Mood Disorders Center to display exhibition boards at the Avenue to promote the "Defeat Depression" message, with a view to raising public awareness about the illness.

As one of the honoured stars at the Avenue of Stars, Leslie Cheung's glorious achievement in the entertainment industry is always remembered by his fans and general public alike.
